    We are seeking a talented and dedicated Bar Manager to join the team at the Good Company Bar. As the Bar Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations ensuring the highest standards of quality, customer service and profitability.     Duties:

    • Manage daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and organisation

    • Create and update beverage menu taking into consideration customer preferences, market trends and cost-effectiveness

    • Train, supervise, and motivate staff to ensure they provide exceptional service and adhere to company policies and procedures

    • Conduct training sessions to communicate expectations, provide feedback and address any concerns

    • Collaborate with venue manager, restaurant manager, operations manager when planning activations. Wine dinners, beer events, cocktail events etc

    • Weekly beverage prep. Oversee pre-batching cocktails, making syrups. Ensuring sufficient holdings for all trading days

    • Provide bespoke beverage offerings, such as cocktails, for upcoming events

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to continuously improve venue offerings and operation

    Good Company is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to lead from the front and help drive the seamless day-to-day operations of our vibrant venue.     As Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our bar and floor operations run smoothly while creating a positive and professional atmosphere for both guests and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately

    • Manage financial reporting and cash handling with precision

    • Support casual staff across bar, floor, and function operations

    • Resolve customer queries and complaints with professionalism

    • Greet guests and ensure an outstanding customer experience

    • Oversee RSA compliance and assist staff in managing patron behaviour calmly

    • Coordinate all venue bookings and private functions

    • Deliver staff training on beverage knowledge, service standards, and bar operations

    • Maintain a clean, tidy venue with optimal lighting, music, and table setups

    • Uphold high standards of health and safety for staff and guests

    • Proactively report operational concerns to upper management

  • Good Company Bar is looking for additional Bartenders. Located right in Karrinyup Shopping Centre, GC is your favourite friendly neighbourhood bar.

    Experience is a bonus but not required as we will provide on the job training and support. What is essential from applicants is weekend availability, an RSA, and a positive attitude.
